Your First Six Months at MAP

Getting Started

Welcome (<30 Days)

We immediately get to work, registering your agency with SIAA’s national system. Additionally, we complete your setup with the Applied Rater platform.

Brand Identity (Month 1)

We’ll work with you one-on-one to help you evaluate your brand, website, and marketing materials.

Onboarding Training (Month 1)

During this all-day training, you’ll learn the ins and outs of MAP & SIAA systems including one-on-one instruction on PL Access & CL Access.

Carrier Appointments (Month 2)

After you complete your in-person onboarding, we will start the appointment process. Be on the lookout for emails from carriers so that your appointment process moves swiftly.

Personal Lines Training (Month 2)

Next, our Personal Lines Team will schedule a call to help guide you one-on-one with personal lines rating, submissions and more.

Agency Foundation (Month 2)

We will be by your side for SIAA’s Agency Foundations, an incredible program built to put you on a path to success.

TLC & Market Finder (Month 3)

The TLC provides Member Agencies with access to sales curriculum, continuing education via WebCE, Acord form instruction, and more.

Market Finder (Month 3)

SIAA’s alternative when a risk does not fit standard markets. Allows member agencies to quickly identify and obtain direct access to an E&S or alternate market.

Business & Marketing Training (Month 3)

During this strategic planning meeting, we will help you create goals, identify marketing opportunities, and establish KPIs for your agency.

Business Insurance Advantage (Month 3)

SIAA’s Business Insurance Advantage (BIA) is a consultative system for personal or commercial agents to efficiently build commercial insurance books of business. We will be your coach throughout the entire process.

Premiere Families (Month 4 - 6)

SIAA’s Premier Families is a program designed to help member agencies pursue and write personal lines with accomplished, successful households. Premier Families provides guidance designed to help an agency identify, market, service the growing number of high-value households.

Six Month Review (Months 4–6)

After 6 months, we will schedule a one-on-one call with you to asses how your agency is doing. We’ll review your goals, marketing strategies, and more to ensure your agency is on a path to success.
